One Mother of a Hangover (Girls’ Night In 4)
Belinda Jones is an English novelist and journalist. She was born in Kent, England in 1967 and grew up in Taunton, Somerset.
She studied journalism at London College of Printing (now London College of Communication).
Her first journalistic experience was on the children’s comic Postman Pat. She moved on to become a feature writer on More! Magazine for 4 years. She has also had work published in Elle, Empire. FHM, Bliss, Company and Cosmopolitan.
Her novels tend to combine travel and romance and after meeting her dog Bodie in Los Angeles in 2010 they embarked on a 2,000-mile road trip across America, visiting 30 states. The book : Bodie on the Road -The Dogged Pursuit of Happiness made the Sunday Times Top 10 Bestseller list, alongside Belinda’s writing hero, Bill Bryson.
Belinda is the co-founder of Notting Hill Press with fellow authors Talli Roland and Michele Gorman.
Bodie s an unusual breed, a mixture of Bulldog, Samoyed and Spaniel!
He enjoyed the 4 years they spent in Devon in the Uk, exploring the countryside and seashore.
Belinda says her dream is to ‘retire to a ranch in Colorado and fill the fields with romping rescue dogs’
