Biography

Gil McNeil is Publishing Director of PiggyBankKids, founded by Sarah Brown in 2002.

She has worked in advertising, the film business and publishing and has been actively writing novels since 2001 when she published her debut novel, The Only Boy for Me. She would go on to write several freestanding novels before deciding to try her hand at writing series. She has also contributed to several compilations

She is the bestselling author of Stand by your Man, In the Wee Small Hours, Divas Don’t Knit, The Beach Street Knitting Society and Yarn Club, Needles and Pearls, and Knit One Pearl One, among other novels — and she’s also working on a scarf and a rather tricky jumper.

She lives in Kent, England with her son.
