Cheltenham Literature Festival: Nick Hornby, Claudia Winkleman

Cheltenham Literature Festival will be live-streamed from Cheltenham for the first time in the history of the world’s oldest literature festival – combining digital and in-person events – features a unique line-up of the world’s greatest writers, thinkers, performers and dynamic new voices. From 2 – 11 October, the Festival will include over 160 events with over 100 broadcast live from Cheltenham’s Town Hall and the Everyman Theatre.

Two stars from the Girls’ Night In series – Nick Hornby and Claudia Winkleman, will be joined by Gavin & Stacey co-creator Ruth Jones from October 2nd to 11th at the new digital Cheltenham Literature Festival also featuring comedian Richard Osman and brother Mat (Suede).

Best-selling novelist Anthony Horowitz will talk about his latest book with other big names including Booker Prize winner DBC Pierre.

Actor Rupert Everett will discuss his 10-year quest to make a film of Oscar Wilde’s final days and Ian Hislop will look back on his career as he turns 60.

Sebastian Faulks will lead a Top Trumps debate, asking authors for characters from literature who could do a better job in The White House.
