Singer, actress, writer and contributor – Big Night Out 3 – Clare is a truly inspirational woman so it was only fitting that she performed at Street Soccer Scotland’s Women inspired event in Edinburgh on Friday 8th March. The event takes place every year to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Street Soccer Scotland is a charity which promotes positive change through soccer. They provide free football-themed training & personal development opportunities for socially disadvantaged groups across Scotland.
The International Women’s Day event was launched in 2019 and every year provides an evening of conversation and entertainment while celebrating their women’s projects and programmes bringing together about 400 guests and supporters of Street Soccer Scotland.
Clare said of her performance (via X – formally twitter); “Happy Wonderful Women’s Day and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate it than singing at a very special @streetsoccerSCO event in Edinburgh @PrestonfieldHH #International_Womens_Day #Equality”
